privacy policy

Extrostar is committed to respecting your online privacy and recognise your need for appropriate protection and management of any personal information you share with us. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using our website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with our privacy statement.

Data control

The Data Protection Act 2018 is the UK’s implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

How we use your information

We will never sell or lease your personal information to third parties. We will only use your personal information to send you promotional information about our products, or transactional information related to your purchase.

We share your name, email and postal address with Royal Mail in order to deliver your purchased products as part of our contract with you, and for these companies to provide you with relevant tracking information.

We store your personal information (name, contact details and transactional history) with online service providers that are compliant with European GDPR. We use secure passwords that are routinely changed to access these services.

If you’re an existing customer, we will also notify you of transactional activity related to your purchase.

Your privacy is important to us, so we’ll only send you the information you’ve opted in to receive.

Payment card security

We do not store any payment information on our servers. We use a Ecwid merchant account to process all online and offline credit and debit card payments. You can read more about Ecwid data protection policies here.

You can also choose to complete your order payment using PayPal.

We will never ask you to disclose any part of your card payment information through email or messenger services.

Keeping your information

We will retain your information for as long as you have your account with us, or as long as is needed to be able to provide transactional information to you.

If reasonably necessary or required to meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our terms and conditions, we may also keep hold of some of your information as required, even after you have closed your account or it is no longer needed to provide our services to you.
